Going off road

I know the Evo is a great autocross car but it doesn't mean it comes that way from the factory.

SO... my question is, in stock form, is the suspension good enough that I could I take my car off road in a snow covered field? Is there anything I should be worried about or precautions I need to take first?

I will be using Michelin X-Ice tires and undertermined wheels.

I'm going to Colorado for a ski trip and I know some great areas that I would like to take the car out and have some fun in the snow but I don't want to jack it up.

You can go anywhere, but in terms of rally racing, our stock suspension is not setup for that. You always have the chance of jacking things up in an open field without being able to see what's under the snow, so be aware.

Yup, the EVO stock suspension is 100% biased towards pavment, unlike the stock WRX suspension.... but snow tires and an EVO go together like ham and eggs
