Hey we can do your brakes if you want. I do have a garage. They are not that hard to do. The only thing you will have to get done somwhere is the brake lines. For some reason bleeding the brake lines is the hardest thing in the world for me. I just can't do it correctly. Let me know

No getting the air out of the line is hard. I did it on my RC51 with the speed bleeders and when I went for a ride I was"WOW this is great I have no brakes".

ha and besides weren't you asking for help with a Intercooler 2 weeks ago. That is far easier. LOL Help with a IC. That was a good one.

I didn't read thru to see what you decided to go with, but just for your info, the hawk pads ( I don't remember what version I got, they where recommended for street/strip, I believe the hp+) are the noisiest brake pads I've ever had. They stop great and the braking feel is improved, although I installed goodrich ss brake lines and motul brake fluid at the same time as the pads so the whole braking feel overall was much improved, im not sure how much just from the pads.

They however are a virtual cacophony of high pitched whining, squealing, and squeaking no matter how much or little you use them, not everytime, but after the car and brakes warm up a little they are loud, and whine like crazy. I tried scuffing them and reinstalled them a couple times to make sure it they were line up properly but it is just the nature of the pads material. Just a objective observation and a forewarning as in my experience they are more strip than street.

Thanks for all the info guys

Wow it got crazy. I tried ordering online and I ended up with 9 transactions because of miscommunication between my chair and the website I eventually called the company and got everything cleared up. I am rolling with SPP Rear and Front Slotted Rotors, HKS pads, Gruppe-s stainless steal break lines, plus a bottle of Motul 5.1 blue break fluid. All for 575 including shipping.

They won't be in until next week so are you guys up for next weekend. I got lunch and beer! Just let me know if you can help me get er done. Thanks again for all the info and help.

Steve
