Hello, recently I noticed my Evo sitts lower in the back, compared to the front height. So I took a closer look at the suspension and noticed there are rubber spacers in between the springs in the front only. So I called the dealer to see if maybe they forgot to remove them before selling the car. The person in the phone said those are normal in the Evo IX, but it was in a not so sure voice. So I left it like that but its bugging me and wanted to ask if the spacers are normal?
The rubber pieces between the coils are suppost to be removed. You can take it to the dealer and have them do it (like they were suppost to ), or get some vice grips or channel locks and yank them out.
Thanks Larry, I thought those spacers might have to be removed but I wasnt sure. I'll see if I can remove them my self, if not I get it done next time in near the dealer.
