If you want cheap, reliable, long lasting, and performance oriented, you can't do better than Nitto NT555 or NT450, or some Toyo Proxes 4, or the Falken Ziek. [edit] removed sales pitch [/edit]

I am getting ready to buy the General uhp tires myself. I have read great reviews on them. great in wet weather and sticky in dry. for $107 a tire, i think its worth a try. They look really good too.

i agreee with revhigh. toyo's are very overbuilt tires the steel belts on them dont end at the crown of the treadface, the actually wrap around to part of the sidewall for puncture resistance, heat dissipation and sidewall strength. proxes 4's are quite inexpensive for a UHP..
