Will 245/45/17 tires fit on my EVO?

my evo is stock ride height and i am wondering if this size tire will fit without any rubbing. thanks for your help.

I know we can run up to a 255 on the stock wheels but you had to go down to a 40series. I think you have to do that with the 245 but it also depends on the tire you are looking at. Check on evom. I know there are a lot of theards about tire size on stock wheels.

I run 245/45R17 on my mr fits fine. I run Hankook Ventus R-S2 and I love them. Grip is great and depending on how you drive really depends on how long they last. Do yourself a favor and make friends at your local tire shop. Oh your speedo will be a little off but not much if I remember correctly if your going 70 mph your really going like 71 or 71.5 mph. Just go to whichever tire brand you want to runs website and you can find the diameter of the tire my the size and that will tell you how much bigger or smaller the tire you choose will be. That seems weird if you run the same size sidewall the difference in width will not make a difference on the speedo. I understand that the tire tread is different and that can be a little bit of a difference. I have tried like 4 different tires and my speedo really isn't off not even at +140.

It's not off really I mean you don't notice it at all. I just looked it up again to double check but at 70mph your really going 70.9, at 100 your really at 101.4, and at 150 it's really 152.1. I mean I never really notice either but it will be off slightly.

i know when you step up to the 255's you have to run a 40 series to avoid rubbing issues.

According to our guide, yes, they will fit.

Yes they fit. Im on 245/45/17 and on springs, still no rubbing.
