Is the under engine cover necessary still? Mines is worn out and all the holes where the screws go in are torn just about. The flap keeps coming off in the middle because the screws disappeared. I'd either have to get new screws or find a new cover for the under carriage area. I know it protects the bottom of the engine from water and debris and collision. Just wondering! Thanks for looking out.
What that does is stablize the engine bay temps. If you have air coming from up under the car you COULD cause a heak soak could be bad when you are really driving the car hard. but on everyday driving you SHOULD be fine. Plus it helps with the areo.
