evo 8 transmission??

hey guys,
I just found out my transmission is blown!. the synchros flew through the belt housing and my casing is craked opend. I was thinking of just going ahead and getting a fully built transmission from Shep Trans. But i kinda need one right now so i can drive my car to work and what not. so in that said does anyone know of any transmissions ( new or used) for sale, and any thoughts would really help!!

Have you called Shep or TRE? They usually have one built up at the shop ready to go. Of course you'll end up paying full price since your core is pretty much useless.

yeah i called them and shep. told me that it would 3200 plus shippin for a fully built one. But i just need one for like right now. I am still planning on getting a fully built one from shep. But for right now i just need one to get me to work and back u know.
