Many have been running 400whp with out upgrading the axles. I recently pulled mine for a clutch job and they seemed pretty nice; well cut teeth and some good heft to them.
How much are you looking to run?

Do you plan on running faster than low 10's high 9's in the car? Dave Buschur has run 9's in his daily driven full weight RS on the stock axles with no troubles.

I think we all share a common love of the GT-35R

Thumbs up

Yeah i love that kit because its just so perfect for street and strip. I was originally going to get the 42r but ams said that the 42r was more of a (track only) turbo and that the 35r was just perfect for both

Ran across this from The Drive Shaft Shop;
"The Evo V111 front axle are larger that the 1st and 2nd gen. cars, The ends were made from a material close to our 4130 chromoly and quite strong. The bars were not they were a very brittle material and any car over the 500HP range might want to consider [an] upgrade..."
