Expert Help Please. Evo 6-7 Transfer Box

Hey guys i'm currently building a Mitsubishi Evo Colt,

Ive Got A problem and i need help with it, Ive heard that you guys know a lot about Evo's
Please help me,

I'm building an Evo colt with a 4x4 wheel drive, and Ive got a problem with the transfer box

basically Ive got an Evo 7 Transmition gear box with an Evo 7 Transfer Box,

And it doesn't fit the car because the transfer Box is hitting the firewall of the car, its a Mitsubishi Colt Chassi .

My question is If i can use An evo 7 Manual gear box and install an evo 6 transfer box on it?

vie done some research and i found out that an evo 6 transfer box should fit the chassi like a glove.
