i have a 06 mr that has slight grinding going into 4 gear at high rpms but at normal driving it dont make a noise at all started after i had my exedy twin disc clutch installed.i was wondering if someone had an idea what could be causeing this and if the bushwacker stage 1 would fix it ?

You shouldn't need a full trans upgrade to remedy this problem, assuming there is one. Adjust your clutch by turning the clutch rod outward, and see if it improves. If it ends up being a damaged synchro, then you can think about a trans upgrade maybe.

well i have already ajusted the clutch and tryed that but i just dont understand the why grinding dont get worse and it alway goes into gear everytime.its been 4 months since it started grinding

This is good info'. My car grinds in 5th. Same situation. Ok at low RPM's, but grinds at high RPM's. Same clutch.

5th is somewhat common for the synchro to go bad - enough so that Mitsu put out a TSB. However, it's only for 03-04s. This is not a typical problem with an Exedy Twin.

that happens to mine too but going into 3rd at high RPM. I wouldnt really call it a grind though becuause it dosent really make a noise it is an odd vibration in the shifter as it goes into gear. regular driving

Are you talking about the MR and the TSB? If it is for the MR then I will try the previous post about the clutch. Thanks in advance. Never mind read the post on 03-04.

No, there are no MRs in 03-04 and no TSBs specific to an MR that I know of...
