ran at pomona
Hey whats up everyone I ran at pomona this weekend and I had a couple of terrible 60 foots this weekend but finaly learned how to launch the car on street tires. I tried launching at 5k but my tires would spin realy bad and I was runing 13.2 13.3 with 2.1 60 foots. I launched at about 4.5k my last 2 runs and here are my time slips sorry dont have a scaner. Where do you guys launch I was a bit disapointed because I wanted to at least run 12.6 or 12.7, I think I will get my car retuned at tuning technologies because my car feels like at has a lot of bottom end but not to much on top. I had 305 whp but I now believe those numbers were on a high reading dyno jet at gt motorsports, I think with a better tune I should be faster. How do you guys launch your cars and is it good to drop the psi on the tires, which i did in the last 2 runs and launched at 4.5k. I think the car had enough for a 12.8 with a realy good launch.
