Few questions from a Nub

Hey guys just a few questions for you pros thinking about buying a evo but need to do more research

i want to buy the new 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X tour MR edition but. I cant find it on the mitsubishi site anywhere.. can anyone help me on that?

where can i find out the specs on it?

does it come with tiptronic?

Is it a good reliable car?

Where can i find the packages? etc etc. and estimated monthly payments..

Google lately has been letting me down..


On wiki it says it goes from 0-60 in 3.8 seconds.. is this true?

Why wouldnt you go straight to the source at mitsubishicars.com . They have all the specs and packages. I dont think 3.8 is right especially for the MR touring since its the heaviest evo of them all. Also its not called tiptronic. Its SST for the mitsus. If you want to build the car for power so far the sst wont hold over 350wtq. the 5spd can go higher and you can get a different clutch when the stock one goes out. Right now the SST tranny you can only get as a sealed unit so If you break it there goes a whole new SST tranny. And Base Price one the MR touring I think is just over $40k. What is your goal for the car, are you just looking for a car to drive everyday? race it? a nice daily with some fun stuff added? what do you want out of it. This will decide what model you should get.
