I told himn what u said about the track, he said to watch on youtube where the stock mazdaspeed3 or in germany its called "mazda 3 mps" at Nurgenburg completes the track in 8 minutes 39 seconds..lol I watched it pretty impressive for a front driver.. So a roll is disavantage for a 4whd?? also update AMS fmic next mod!!
a roll is a disadvantage for a fwd or rwd with lots of power and wheelspin. we should not have any issues if you brake boost properly, awd should have the jump on just about anything from a low roll.
Power-to-weight ratio is what matters when you're already rolling, so you should not be surprised by this result. I'm guessing your X MR is over 3600lbs with you in it and making ~260whp. Removing traction from the equation does nothing but hurt you.
^^ please explain, power to weight ratio should not be as big of a factor since its already in motion....... i have seen +500whp civic hatches lose to under 400whp evos from a roll since they have traction issues and the evo does not due to the awd.

a bigguer intercooler in your case without a tune, is pointless unless you upgrate the turbo
I disagree partially with Alex's post. It is true that a bigger intercooler without a tune is pointless, but depending on other mods and how hard the turbo is actually working, it can be quite beneficial. After a tune, that larger intercooler will help reduce the amount of heatsoak and definitely help keep the the other temps down. Meaning youll be able to run the car harder, longer. If you were to run a comparison of an Evo with a stock intercooler and one with a larger intercooler, but both cars have all of the same other mods, youll notice that the one with the smaller intercooler will start to lose power, a big reason because the motor is going to start to knock.

SicLanEvo makes a valid point as well. Brake boosting properly will give you a huge advantage. Being at a slow roll, but generating a good amount of boost will still give you a pretty reputable launch ahead of your opponent.
got ams fmic,upgraded ic pipeing and intake. now hes only gets me by a little over 1 car lenght! definatly and improvment! Next is a a lightass tbe with high flow cat!
