I recently bought my wife a brand new 2008 EVO, and all she did was complain. For the life of me i cant understand why. Just curious how you would react if someone bought you a brand new EVO?

I can't imagine why you'd randomly buy your wife an Evo. That doesn't make much sense to me. I know if I did that, my wife would complain, because she has no use for an Evo. It would just be a big waste of money as far as she is concerned. She would not complain if I got one for myself, but she would look at me dumbfounded if I bought her one.

I would normally agree, but when she went from driving an 03 VW 1.8T Jetta with about $10,000 in mods it is a little wierd. The cars we were looking at for her were the following:

2008 Honda S2000
07 or 08 Subaru WRX Sti
2008 Honda Civic Si

I already own an 05 S2000 and have put about $26,000 into. I just didnt want to buy another S2000 (no Trunk Space).

Update: She loves it now, her biggest complaint was the blind spots in the rear and on the front corners. Last night we were cruising the town and while stopped at a light some Idiot in an Integra tried to race her. Needless to say it was somewhat of a blow out. Instant Gratification!!

In that case, I don't understand why she wouldn't be elated. My wife prefers SUVs for the kids, groceries, and dog.

No kids here, at least not yet. Over the last day she has fell in love with the car. It takes everything o have to make sure she knows that she needs to break the engine in correctly. I don't know how important with todays engines but i try to do it anyways.

It's probably of no concern actually. Plenty of people go by the notion of seating the rings on day one and flog it from then on. I did 500 miles below 5000rpm but with plenty of boosting, then since 500, it's been balls to the wall.

I just got my car back from a new motor build and have been breaking it in the Buschur Way!! 26 psi and a heavy foot!!

Corey, I can't wait to hear about the 10:1. That plus you being on a healthy motor should provide for some interesting track results. We need to hit it up as soon as we can.
