I have an APS BOV on my evo 9 is there anyway I can make the blow off louder? Do I have to loosen up the knob? Or buy a different intake? Help! Any suggestions?

why would you want it louder? What other mods do you have for your car? if its venting partially you are robbing your car of power and driveability. The knob will not make it louder it will adjust how easy the BOV opens up. just because it's louder does not mean it works better. One of the best BOV's for a stockish or mild bolt on evo is the OEM evo 9 BOV.

im just not sure if my BOV is working or sounding like its suppose to... other evo's with the same BOV sound louder with a distinct sound to it, and im just wondering if i can make it sound the same if i get a different filter like a K&N?

ive got a APS intercooler, fuel rail, Greddy Ti-c exhaust, thats all i think that will matter to it.

are you still running the stock airbox or is it a aftermarket intake? the stock airbox muffles the BOV sound since its a closed box...

yeah its still just the stock box with a regular fram filter.. thats why im wondering if the K&N filter will help or not?

the k&n will flow better but still the stock air box muffles the sound. take the top of the airbox off and rev your car. an intake will make it louder but why would you want to be loud and obnoxious? Are you looking to be heard rather then performance? if so you may want to rethink why you bought the evo.....

I would like to know if I had the option of doing that if I could adjust it or not

If you want to hear it, buy a intake. ETS is what i would go with.
