Cecil county drag

I'm a new member. I couldn't post my cars quarter mile info because I lost my timeslip. I ran a 12.82 at 107. I'm going to the track March 10 (I hope) to run with my new mods. Since my last run I upgraded my Utech ECU from stage1 to stage2 and have new O2 housing and short ram K&N intake. I'm still using stock clutch(hope it lasts). Also I will do a run with N-tercooler spray(nitrous) to see if it really adds on horsepower. I hope to run a Mid to Low 12 without the nitrous.

From testing conducted by David Buschur the major performace boost from the N-tercooler kits is nitrous being sucked into the intake. He actually saw a performance drop using the N-tercooler with CO2 because of the CO2 being sucked into the intake. In my view if you are going to have N2O going into the engine anyway it is better to actually use a N2O system that provides correct fuel enrichment than accidental N2O use with no fuel enrichment.

What mods did you have running that 12.82 at 107? Always good to see someone hitting the track and laying down good numbers!

Keith

3 inch turbo back exhaust with cat delete pipe and U-tech ECU stage 1.

Authority from lancershop. We researched 3 different brands and from what lancershop said, they all are about the same.

Does the U-tech stage 1 control boost in some way through the ECU or did you have some other boost control?

Thanks,

Keith

Yes it does control boost. Stage one has 20PSI dropping to 19PSI. Stage 2 pushes 22PSI dropping to 20PSI. When I switch from stock mode to stage 2 it feels like a entirely different car.
