check engine light. EGR ?????

Hey I was just wondering if anyone has had there check engine light come on and the code it threw came up EGR Insuffecient flow. Mitsu wont warranty it, so thats out. I have had it come on a few times but i scanned it and cleared the code. but now its back for good. I clear it and on the way home it will be back on. I ordered a new EGR Valve today. to replace it. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem before?

2003 Lancer Evolution 8/ 34,500 Miles on it/

Thanks, Mike

I had the same problem and it was just my hoses cam off my EGR valve, I have seen this happne to nuerous 03's. I put the hoses back on and cleared the code. Everything has been fine since. I did get a EGR insufficent flow code yesterday, I will be taking it off the car and cleaning it maybe this weekend. I have 87k on mine.... Why wont they warranty it for you? I thought emissions was a 8year/80k...

you should not be out of warranty emissions. What mods do you have done to your car?
