do i need a new tune?

Ok so this might be a stupid question to some but I am going to ask it.

My car is currently tuned with a 3" turbo back, test pipe, and a drop in K&N filter. I am going to order a Greddy profec B boost controller and an upgraded fuel pump. after I install those do I need to get my car retuned?

If your raising boost or changing anything that has to do with fuel you will need a tune or you will be running very rich. do you have a wideband AFR? why did you go with the profec?

After installing Greddy profec B boost controller you will need a retuned your car. also i would advice you to visit any of your local workshop or consult with pro.

SicLanEvo is dead on, even about the Profec option. The Profec B is a nice mod, but if you can find a tuner who can do ECU controlled boost, you'd have much greater flexibility.

Given that you already have the Profec, you'll need a retune on the boost levels you want to run. The fuel pump will give you more fuel just due to the nature of the fuel pressure it's going to have over stock.

Don't get me wrong, the Profec is a pretty good boost control system for the Evos. But if you ever make the jump to ECU controlled boost, you'll never miss it.

The short of it is: You will need a retune. If you have a good tuner, you'll be able to reap great benefits from an EBC, fuel pump, and tune. Good luck on getting some good curves.
