Well I have a question I just bought a used 06 evo 9 mr and was wondering what the rev limiter is set at? I think it might have a flash. Say if I'm in 4th gear and getting on it sometimes The car jerks for a second and then stops doing it. Once in a while it 3rd grad as well. I just bought a Cobb accessport and am wondering if that will work fine if Its flashed??

Usually if a car is flashed, they will either leave the rev limiter at 7500 OR they will bump it up to about 7800. It also depends on your setup as well. If you have a built head, they can easily rev out to about 9000. Im not a big fan of the Cobb accessport. Many people that tune their Evo will use EcuFlash (free) to tune and EvoScan ($25) to log their pulls. Do you have a laptop? Because thats what I definately recommend you use instead of the Cobb. I would just sell it.

At about what RPM's does your car jerk? You could be hitting boost limits if they didnt raise them when they tuned it, or your spark plugs could be going bad.
