Just got tuned last Friday and cant believe the difference

I own a 2003 Evo with a bunch of boltons such as GSC 272 cams,PE timingbelt, AMS intercooler, full exhaust, intake, upper + lower intercooler pipes, BOV, boost controller, 255 fuel pump, ported stock manifold, I took it to get tuned by Jestrtuning in Orlando Florida. John tuned it on the dyno and the base before the tune started at about 285ish to the wheels and john kept tinkering with it and uped the boost by the time he was done the car had 352whp this was on the stock turbo running a peak of about 24-25 PSI of boost. The car feels amazing and top end is insane. he also load all the bells and whistles for example launch control, no lift shifting, and vallet mode. Ive already beat a few cars in town that are know to be pretty fast so im happy for now!! haha the never ending want for more horsepower.

Minus the AMS intercooler and timing belt (not really needed for power), we have the same mods and I was only tuned at 305whp/301wtq using the Zeitronix. Feel free to comment on my posted dyno sheet. I think if I had been tuned at 350whp, I might not be considering the way I am getting either the stock IX turbo or that Green torque monster. By the way, how much torque are you putting down? On the stock turbo, my 305whp is pretty fun. I bet an additional 50whp would make it even funner.

well how much boost are you tuned for? My tune was a custom on the dyno tune. Is yours just a mail in flash? Mine made 352whp and 333 Torque on mustang dyno.

It was a custom road tune using Zeitronix and ECUFlash. I'm tuned at 24PSI tapering off to around 21PSI by 7200.

Could there be an altitude difference?

As far as altitude is concerned, I'm in the Dallas area. As far as mods are concerned, I have the Forge MBC (set at 24PSI), GSC 272/272 cams, Injen UICP/LICP/intake, APS TBE, and the 255lph fuel pump.

I have the Ebay O2 housing and 10.5 hotside sitting in the garage waiting to get installed. Like I said, I bet having nearly 50wtq more than I do is pretty fun to drive on the street.

True, When I got it back it felt like a totally different car. It get loose in the corners even with my Falken 615's. Let me know what the 10.5 Hotside does for you in thinking of getting one my self. Another thing to think about.. My tuner told me that if I get a MAF translator and get rid of my MAF sensor and get a custom 3'' intake pipe he could retune me and get me about 30-45 more wheel horse power.

On the stock VIII turbo (without methanol), I'd be pleased with 330whp/330wtq. I have a short ways to go and I'm hoping that once I put the hotside and O2 housing on as well as putting on a test pipe instead of the high-flow cat I presently have on the car, that it'll put me there. I've never heard/read about removing the MAF sensor and replace it with a MAF translator. I'm no technician by any means, so maybe someone would chime in and enlighten me a bit. Because I autocross every chance I get, I'm not looking into any turbo upgrades unless it's just the stock IX turbo. I believe the largest I'll ever go would be the Green/methanol combination which is something that might come along after my next trip to Iraq (I hate that I even have to go back by the way). In the meantime, I plan on upgrading my suspension with the Works Sport springs and a nice rear sway bar to go along with a set of Azenis. I'll keep you posted on how things turn out.
