what mods do you have on your car to have a external wastegate? do you have any pics of your setup? and any HP numbers? it does not make a difference but if your setup is just a pipe from the wastegate then you are getting the fastest spool possible. when its put back into the exhaust your spool can take a few rpms longer, but it is quieter. I have seen a setup on a HTA 35r kit with the external run back into the exhaust just futhur down to help with spool. What turbo are you running?
