New Evo owner - 05 Evo8

Hey I just want to introduce myself to the community. My name is Ed and I bought my car Saturday and I must say it's unreal. I've been rolling an '89 240 for the past 8 years I love that car but, damn my Evo kicks ass! I live in the Bay Area and new to Evo's. I told everyone it's a family car since I do have a 2 yr old son(the car does have 4 doors, hehe).
Anyways I just wanted to say whats up to everybody and I look forward to meeting up sometime if there's anything coming up in the bay area.
Later!

Awesome, another member. We just keep getting more and more.

Welcome to the Evo Community and EvoTuners. You made a great choice on your Evo, and I also consider mine a family car. I drive it to work daily, take my son to daycare in the baby seat, and I race the wheels off of it. Quite a diverse car I'd say!

Mitsu engineered an extremely diverse car with infinite potential. I get asked what I'm gonna do to it mod wise but as of now in my case anyway I don't really see what can be done to improve these cars....they are damn near perfect in every way....styling , performance , I have NO complaints. I hope I never will.

Hey another bay area member! I just bought my evo ix on saturday as well. They really are beautiful cars. I came from a gsx and being in the dsm community, you can't go wrong with the 4g63 engine. What part of the bay area do you live in? We should get a meet going soon.

I live in Antioch(unfortunately) but, yeah I agree it would be fun to hang out with other evo owners. Any ideas on a good location?

Auto-X looks like a ton of fun. Very high possibility of checking that out. Do you have a link to the Reno Auto-X site? Thanks

I live in Walnut Creek. Why the unfortunately? Antioch isn't that bad...at least the parts i've been too. Anyway, as for location, i'm not really sure. Most meets i've been to have been in parking lots of restaurants. Hopefully we can get a meet going soon. I just need to find more evo owners around here.
