HKS turbo timer special edi type 1

hi i just bought a new HKS turbo timer special edition type 1 we got it to work but when we turn off the car i cant seem to put the alarm on..

ive got a viper alarm and it wont work until the car actually shuts off.
is there a wire or something i have to program so the alarm will go on when the timer is counting down?
and also the lights dont turn off along with the timer i have to turn it off manually
could it be that we attached the wrong wires together?

your alarm doesnt have a turbo timer feature? I am unfamilar with the alarm wiring but did you hardwire the turbo timer or use the harness, everything works perfect for my car, and your lights shut off when you open the door or wait a few extra minutes or take the 1 sec and turn them off.

oh so on your car when the turbo timer shuts off does the light shut off immediately as well?
or do u have to wait a bit? and yeah my friend says my alarm should have a turbo timer but im a second hand owner and ive tried pressing all the buttons or different combos and none works...
um do you know how to work the turbo timer? im trying to learn how it work like setting the rpm warning lvl but the rpm on the turbo timer is a little off from my gauge.

i just need help on how to work it plz

dont use the turbo timer as a shift light....just shift around 7300 and your good. I'm sure you can find the instructions for your turbo timer and alarm online. The evo's lights have a auto-off feature if they are left on once you open the dorr they go off or once the car sits for a few minutes they will cut off.

what about my alarm i cant press my alarm system on until the car shuts off..
is there anyway i can bypass that on' the turbo timer? or is that just the alarm itself?

You need to sell both and buy a new alarm with the turbo timer featuer built into it. So you can arm the alarm while the TT is counting down.

well i do have a viper alarm system and i dont know if my car has the turbo timer on it already.. theres 4 different channels on the remote but i wouldnt know what i would have to press to start the turbo timer on it ive got the manual but i dont think it helps me that much anyways....

you know any tutorials that can help me set it up? or to find out if i have it or not?

go talk to your local best buy and see if they can help. they install them all the time. i would have both removed and get one that does both things.
