A friend of mine totalled his evo the other week, and he's parting out his car. I wanted the HIDS for my eclipse. I was wondering how we could remove the hids from the EVO and install them into my eclipse? I am under the impretion that there is the HID bulb and a ''power box'' of some-sort. Im not real familiar with un-installing/installing HID bulbs, so if anyone could help us with this that would be great!
hey man if you want you can email me that info also....when i bought my evo it didnt come with a manuel! lol but im the guy Ryan is wanting to buy the HIDs off of....
You can purchase them from Mitsubishi HID Kits HIDs Headlights Conversion Mitsubishi Xenon Bulbs HID Lights with $80. If you do go for a true HID kit, I'd highly recommend going with a 6000K color temperature bulb, as that'll have the best light output with bulb color combo that you can get. 5000K is slightly brighter, but it'll have a tint of yellow to it, where 6000K has a tint of blue.
you have to be knowledgeable when removing hids. a reliable manual from mitsubishi will definitely help you out. if you're not sure what you're doing, just leave the job to the pros.
