vortex generator

well i've been thinkin about getting a vortex generator for my 03 evo, at 500whp.com and they have the mitsu brand for a good deal...but then again theres the ebay ones that are like $60 shipped.... my question is if there would be any performance difference between the two??? could the ebay one just be for looks and like peel off when hittin high speeds (100mph and over)??

Put the money towards something on your wishlist. There is money better spent elsewhere.

Are you willing to shell out another $60 if it does?
I would trust OEM long before ebay.

+1 Go with OEM its not much more then what others are offering for a clone so I would spend the $150 and get a OEM one..... thats what I am ordering in about 20 min.

Here's Mitsubishi's white paper on Vortex Generators:

FWIW, if I had to have one, I'd go for the OEM.
