Question Better Mileage?

hey guys, i recently bought a 2003 evo 8 and i was thinking about gas mileage.. if i buy a exhaust, which should a get? cat/turbo? and intake.. if those help on mileage at all of if they make it worse? and im looking for a boost controller, if an electric one is worth it then should i get one? and can you tune it so its increasing mileage or no? thank you agian. the car is still stock

Your exhaust really isnt what changes the kind of gas mileage that you get. Its more in the tune with your air fuel ratios and what not. It also depends on how much youre boosting while daily driving. In a recent trip to NY, I was able to achieve about 28 mpg.

i average between 23-27mpg in mine depending on how you put your foot down.... a good tune will be a great thing if you want better mpg dont put your foot into it.

get a good tuner and do ecu controlled boost. if any mods are put on the car it will need to be tuned for optimal performance and mpg's! Dont forget little things like good plugs wires, and tire pressure.
