Evo X GSR or Evo X MR for DD

I saw other threads on which one to buy, but I'd like your opinions on my situation.

I am looking to buy a 2010+ Evo X, but having a hard time deciding between the GSR or the MR. I currently have an 08 Lancer GTS that is a manual and enjoy it, but there are tons of times in which I thought to myself "I wish I had an automatic right now!"

This car will be a DD most of the time, maybe see the track once a year. I anticipate having kids within the next few years too, so I am not sure if MR or GSR would be better for kids. I don't anticipate going over 400awhp. If I need to have some fun, I have a 450awhp 3000GT VR4 that I take out every now and then.

My wife has a 2010 Outlander with the paddle shifting like the Evo MR and I don't mind it. I can throw it into sport mode and it has grown on me a lot.

I was also thinking about waiting until the XI comes out and then making my decision then. Not sure how I feel about the diesel-hybrid just yet, but maybe it will be great? Or it may not come out at all!

Thanks for your input!
