I wanted some advice on buying my first Evo, I'm defenetly going for an evolution 8 which mostlikly will have 95,000 plus miles on it. For the most part I hear the evo is pretty realiable with proper care.
My question is what should I look for? I know to stay away from heavily modified cars or any "too good to be true" deals. I plan on going privet party to buy my car so I wanted some basic advice on what to look for.
I found an Evo with the transfer case replaced 500 miles ago (he has paper work to prove), is this something that I should be worried about? Is this a common issue?
The clutch was replaced 5,000 miles ago (has paper work)
any and all advice it greatly appeiciated!!
Thank you in advance!
Hi, I know you probably made up your mind already but I would like to share my experience. I'm owning Evo 8 for 2 years already, I was short of funds and couldn't buy a new one, so I decided to buy used evo. But I ended up getting a salvage car from easyexport.us
auto auction, it had 102,000 mileage and accident front end damage, so I had to repair it of course but all in all I'm very satisfied cuase the car is reliable and I never had any problems with it afterwards.
