Newb buying at auction.

Greetings folks! I'm looking into buying a car, and came across an auction. I'm really not sure about this method of buying. Can any of you folks share any car auction experiences? Whether good or bad, I'd like to hear/read from you.

Another thing, I've noticed some vehicles have rebuilt/salvage titles, is there any big deal buying one of those?

i would stay away from a auction unless there is a warranty....

If its a rebuild or salvage title it has been wrecked and rebuilt so it will probably never be right anyway. you wont know any of the history of the car with a auction unless you are in direct contact with the previous owner!

Thanks for the replies folks. I always liked the aesthetics of the Evo so I want to get one as a project/hobby car, so after some research, the title really doesn't matter. So the idea is to get 2 from an auction, because I found one that looks really good, but I just have to swap the engine.
