Hmm, yeah, you can trap as high as 115-116 in 4th on the 6spd, but you're so far out of your powerband that it makes it totally sucky. My best times were always shifting to 5th, but you basically have to powershift it or it kills your times. That's when I was doing 12.30 @ 109.5. If I stayed in 4th, I would only hit 107s, because we have no power by 7k, and I would shift at 6300. In fact, I would be in 5th before the 1000' mark (halfway between 1/8th and 1/4). Now, I stay in 4th with the 5spd, but I'm way out of my powerband still when I cross the line at 7400.

Yeah... I did have one that I hit 113mph but the time was so sucky on that one it was like a 13, bad launch(i was in nutral and not in 1st lol) and i just left the line all slow, it was sad, i lost that slip. but after that I never saw anything that high again

Yeah the other two Tobz-tuned MRs at Bandi on Wed were seeing 108-109 traps but their 1/8th-mile traps and 1/4 times were showing that they are actually trapping more like 112 but are gearing-limited. One guy even hit 12.2-12.3 but only saw 109s due to having to shift to 5th each time. It's obvious his car is "faster" than a 109mph trap, but the gearing throws off the slip.

Damn yeah I was talkin to tobz about that... He is saying they were running 12.2 at that speed which is pretty good. but I just have to get my driving down as well.. and I think I can get better better times.
