PMI tonite

Were heading down for the drags tonite a buddie of mine from wyoming has his evo back from the shop after getting a new turbo and internals so were gonna see how fast it is. Text me if you wanna come 7192441186

yea but he didnt do soo good gotta get his car retuned dynoed at 430whp but my car was faster lol tobz is gonna tune it and we will see if he can go fast lol

430whp on which dyno, what turbo/internals did he upgrade to, and who tuned it before? Yours was faster than that even on a night when you didn't do so well? Eek.

trendz dyno he has pistons rods everything pretty much lol with a 25g turbo tuned by trendz the prob is his turbo spools late and he has to shit at 7k rpms so if tobz tunes it to shift at like 8k he will be set and prob run 11s easy

Nothing easy about 11s, and 430 on a Dynojet with full correction isn't that much power. I can't believe anyone with an Evo would go to Trenz and let them build/tune it - that's crazy. Interesting that he has a 25g. I've only seen one other Evo use a 25g. Do you know why your friend chose that instead of the plethora of other great turbos for the Evo? Just sounds like he wasn't aware of what works on the Evo and how to build - that's too bad.

However, I'm sure Tobz can help optimize it. If it spools late or makes power late, then he could have shifted at 8k if he wanted to. Why did he have to shift at 7k?

it was bogging when he would go past 7 so he has a emanage on it and i dont think the guy who tuned it knew what he was doing and as far as the 25g thats what trendz told him to use =/

Wow, that's a shame. Paid all that for a 25g instead of one of the many turbos that work so much better on the Evo for less, and he has an E-manage? He must have a Greddy love affair caused by Ricer mags. Damn, that sucks. Hopefully, he can sell the E-manage (not very likely) and just go with a nice flash on E-85. It could make a lot of power, because it's fairly big, but definitely not worth that huge cost. Damn, I wonder how he ended up with that route - does he not keep up with the Evo community?

he dosnt really know anyone with a evo other then me and thats why i got him to go to tobz. he is being screwed hard but dosnt even know it

He bought the turbo system years ago. Hes had many problems with the car over the years. I think with some Evo Love the car will be a beast. We'll keep you up to date with this one, as I'm really interested in what the turbo does on E85.
