Tuning

I just bought an '03 Evo III with some mods and it is in serious need of a tune.
Can someone recommend a good tuning shop locally here in Denver?

Thanks.

Easy one buddy. best shop in the state by far.

Carz Performance
Lucas is the owner
720-214-5095

Just so you know I'm no blowing up ur azz, he owns 2 evos. one with about 500 hp and the other with 800 hp and he has a few buddies that are in the 700's. Shop is in Lakewood right off Colfax and Wadsworth. Real easy to find.

We have a Evo meet coming up at the end of June, you should come out. Also there is a Evo Vs. STI showdown on June 6th at bandimere. come on out.

Yep, you luckily have some great choices right there in Denver.

- Brian (username: Tobz) for great tuning and even installations/parts
- Carz (Lucas - username DynoDude) for tuning, installations, parts, and dyno'ing

I personally am tuned by Tobz now, and it's safe to say my Evo is quite fast. I haven't seen a stock turbo'd Evo go quicker OR faster at the drag strip or road course yet. However, we have many dyno monsters who we hope will get out to the track soon and strut their stuff, because my power levels are relatively meager in comparison.

it is true what he says, he does have "very meager power" compared to some of us! so probably not the guy you wanna listen to.

Timeslips vs dyno sheets. I have no use nor need for dyno sheets. Let me know when you get some timeslips...

You don't need to better 109mph traps. You need to hit 11s at 120+ to prove your power is legit. I have already proven my power, which has NOTHING to do with driving, and I will prove it even further at the Shootout.

I have been home less days than that...
