new to the thread chiller kit

Hey what up everybody I have a question is there any way the motor can blow up or in other words mess up by using an intercooler chiller kit. Some say that the power gains are by the nos being sucked into the air intake, not by cooling the intercooler core. I have searched and cant find anything say that its dangerous or that it can mess up your motor.

If your tuned to the ragged edge and on the lean side, then maybe the additional NO2 could cause some knock. If left unchecked and you get strong enough knock it could damage pistons, break spark plugs that damage valves, cylinder walls, turbine blades etc.
... but that's worst case scenario.
More hp could probably be made somewhere else. Can you update your car's profile?
