I need a measurement please (brakes)

Hello,

I am looking for a measurement from the center of the wheel to the outside edge of the brake caliper on an evo with the stock brembo calipers. basically I am wondering about some clearances. if anybody could get that measurement for me I would appreciate it.

thanks!

J

I think he is looking for a measurement from the center of the wheel. That would be 0 offset, would i not?
so on an 8" wheel it would be in the neighborhood of 3.75 to 4.25"... big fat hairy guess.

since my car is in the shop I can't do the actual measurement.

whoops, that would mean a measurement of around -.5 inches to +.5 inches

whoops whoops whoops. never-mind, honestly some people. sorry for my confusion

you are thinkin a little to much into it....

basically i guess i should have asked if an enkei rpf1 sized 17"x8.5 (+40mm offset) would fit over the brakes. I am pretty sure its gonna but pretty close on the outside edge of the caliper to the inside edge of the wheel.

it looks like the 17x8.5 35mm RPF1 fits. that is a size that was being discussed on the other evo board.

Well, yeah it should fit. 17X8 is our stock size with that same offset.
