thumping or banging when turning

Alright I have an 03 evo and when i make left turns i have clicking and thumping noise in my right front tire and sometimes when i hit bumps. It sounds like the wheel is going to fly off. It kind of sounds like a shock is bad but they seem fine and i was told it could be my wheel bearing but i think thats fine to. Its been happening for 2 years now and still no one can find the problem. Has anyone else had this problem or may know what the problem could be???

I would actually test the shock it real easy get a husky friend of yours to sit his ass on that right front corner and if the car rebounds quickly and not bounce alot then the shock is good, and the wheel bearing just get that wheel in the air and shake the wheel trying to pry it off and if there is no give the wheel bearing if fine also. If those check out I would check ball joints, tie rod end, bushings, even the axle. Any of these thing could cause your problem. How many miles are on the car?

55,000 miles. yea we tried most of that and it just seems like nothing is giving or anything im thinking i'm just gonna have to start taking things apart until i find which part is going... the axel seemed fine when we looked at it but i think it's still part of the problem to... just gonna have to take it apart i guess...

The axle should have no in out movement except the cv joints the exterior axle nut might have come loose a bit. If you check the other stuff try that and also look at bushings they might be getting torn up from the roads where you are. Good luck.
