2003 Evo VIII; mod list

Hi all,

I'm purchasing an '03 evo viii this summer. I have been doing some research on some mods I would like to purchase for it..

Here's a list of what I have so far, let me know if the price seems right & your opinion on the brand.

If you think of other mods to add, please do.. im a newbie evo buyer but want to learn as much as possible before I buy one.. Thanks!

Here is the list---

AMS- Intercooler pipes: Lower & upper: $275/ $294

Air Intake- Mishimoto Carbon fiber intake: $407

Ait Filter (made for the Evo)- $45

Boost Control: Greddy TVVC - $240 (what should this be set at)

Exhaust: Greddy Evo2 catback Exhaust- $584 ( which exhaust would be the best, cat, turbo, etc)

Tuner: ECUTEK Ecu Reflash, after everythings put in.

Any opinions, ideas, etc on these mods & what other add-ons I can put on will be greatly appreciated!

Kindest regards,

Nate

turboback exhaust 3", ETS intake and Pipes, 255lph fuel pump, hallman MBC, Evo IX BOV, and use ecuflash to tune your car.....its free except for the cable and any tuner should be able to do it. With the utec you will have to buy that then have it programed. you can spend way less then what you have listed. Like the CF intake.......$407 is way too much for a intake IMO. You could get a set of IC pipes for that and then add another $185 for the intake and your good. I reccomend the ETS set ups because they make great power and are easy to tune. there website is ETS - Extreme Turbo Systems - Custom Intercoolers, Intercooler Kits and Performance Parts
