Sorta. You don't need an aftermarket solenoid. You just use the stock solenoid and modify the boost hoses/restrictor pills. You then can manipulate the boost tables in EcuFlash to get the duty cycles right at certain rpms for reducing taper. If not done properly, then taper is usually worse than an MBC, but a few people have mastered it for high boost and high sustained boost. It's a rare skill that takes a lot of time, so it's not the sort of thing that is normally included with a regular tune.
