I just wanted to see how many people are getting 340+whp on stock turbos, no nitrous and 94 octane or less. If so what mods are done. If you've never been to the dyno what is your quarter mile time?

Dave
3'' turbo back exhuast with cat delete pipe
dejon tool intake w K&N filter
Utec w 22PSI dropping to 20PSI at redline
255 warbro fuel pump
tuned by turbo XS 316hp/302Tq

On the EVO 6.5 TME turbo (no real effect on top end power over the stock turbo) I made 375 wheel HP on a dynapack AWD dyno on 93 octane pump gas. That was with full stage IV from Buschur Racing with the AEM EMS, and HKS 272 cams, along with an SSAutochrome exhaust manifold, and O2 housing and Magnus sheet metal intake manifold. That was my "daily driver" pump gas tune, not just a "glory shot" on the dyno :)

I also have a high authority O2 housing and nitrous intercooler spray. I ran a 12.79 at 107 without the nitrous and a 12.54 at 109 with nitrous. I plan on getting HKS 272 cams, lower intercooler piping, titanium springs and retainers, 750cc injectors and perrin light weight crank pulley. I'm hoping to to pull 350-360 on pump gas.( minus the nitrous)

20-25whp from an IC sprayer? Is that normal?

Anyway, a 107mph trap is probably around 280-285whp, so with the cams and bits, you should get ~40whp, but that's still 25-35 away from your goal. If the IC spray actually gives 20-25whp, then you would right at your 350whp goal, although you wanted to hit it without the spray. If the IC spray really didn't add all that whp, but rather you just tuned it better or had better conditions leading to a 109whp based on your mods as a whole, then you would be well on your way to the 350-360 w/o the spray.

It all depends on the accuracy of your aforementioned et/mph, but if you're really only trapping 107 w/o the spray, then your next mods are unlikely to get near 350whp.

David Buschur proved on the dyno that the effects of the intercooler sprayer are due to the N2O being sucked into the intake. When he used CO2 as the cooling gas power actually dropped compared to no cooling gas used at all due to the lower O2 density in the air being sucked into the intake, and with N2O as the cooling gas there was a large increase in power. Pretty clear where the power increase is actually comming from :)

i went 350whp on the stock 9.8 hotside. but i used to 110octane. I should have no problem going over 350whp on pump, stock turbo, stock intercooler, stock exhaust mani, stock intake mani if i can ever figure out how not to break my headstuds

actually I already dynoed 316 whp with my current mods. my goal is only another 40hp away
Well, I ran faster with only 282whp, so I'm pretty skeptical of that 316 personally, because my dyno numbers were on a Dynojet, which reads the highest of all the Dyno types. A 107 trap is more like 280-290whp...
