Hmm, interesting. The AFRs and timing advance look just about as perfect as they can look for an SAFC-only tune, especially on 91oct. What surprises me is that you are able to go so lean on 91pisstane, yet still maintain good timing advance at peak torque (goes no lower than 4*, but jumps back to 7* quickly). I would normally not suggest going that lean on 91oct, but then at the top you let it go safely rich, which is a good idea. It didn't go RICH RICH, but it went safely rich as you approach and surpass redline, which I think is a good idea. Your timing never falters and linearly increases quite beautifully. My only explanation for why you're able to have it tuned that lean on 91oct and still get great timing is because you are running such low boost.
It comes back to the old argumeng of high boost with less timing or low boost with more timing. I think I like the way yours is set, because that is generally the path I follow - I keep boost reasonable enough to allow me a good mid-to-high 11 AFR with no lack of timing on pump gas. On race gas, well, I crank the boost AND go lean AND crank the timing, heh.
:shhh:
