Shit, we would have an influx of people wanting to moderate the place! Then all current threads would be merged (just because).... and then anyone who was actually interesting would be banned as a bad influence because they might upset a sponsor!8th_Sin said:

lol...ya, since I only recently have started seriously considering and realized I could by an evo (jan) then only now I started to look for online info. evom seems kinda cluttered for me...I really haven't gone there much but from all the times I have, that is the impression I got...
This is kinda neat, I like the fact there are a lot of us 4g63 experienced people here (not that there aren't on Evom...I just never looked there)

Yeah, we really gotta have more people help spread the word. Email all the EVO owners you know of and have them check us out. The site will grow... it just takes time. I wouldn't want anyone to spam evom, but there are subtle ways of mentioning our site in other Evolution forums so that others don't get upset. Like, "hey, I saw a guy on EVOtuners.net that had XXXX exhaust and liked it - what do you guys think?"... you end up getting your question answered in a different forum and help spread the word about us at the same time. Know what I mean?
Another way, is to organize an event here in our forums and let people know about it on other evo forums. Post the event in our Event forum and our Event calendar and ask people to reply here on our site to let you know if they're going to make it. You may not get a lot of replies, but the point is to have everyone come over to read about the event.
And the last way to help is to post a link to us on your website if you have one. Just a simple link will help put the word out about us.

it'll get spread...that is fact...but like you said it will take time. When people tell people and then those people tell other people..etc. etc. it will grow real quick just like dsmtuners did.
also I'm going to tell Mike about it Chris (DSS Mike) cause he knows a lot of people with Evo's and also has connections all over, including SCC...so maybe he'll talk maybe he wont...but I'll tell him to.

Do the powers that be on Evotuners.net have a position on having a "kill" section?
Fastest way to get new members gleaned from Evolutionm.net would be to go to each locked street racing thread, and PM the original post author and tell them to come on over here and post up the story

Well, on our other sites, we sway toward not promoting street racing... we don't have a Kills forums. That doensn't mean that we don't allow kill stories, it just means we don't want to open a forum dedicated to it. Yeah, but the owners of that site would surely not appreciate you trying to scrape their users away in such a fashion. We'd like to get the word out, but we don't want to make enemies.
