alright every so often i experience "chatter"or shaking when taking off at normal driving speeds. this usually happens while everything is still cold. i can sure tell its coming from the trans and i am wondering if it is my clutch that is starting to give. my car is stock and i rarley launch it, but i do "cruise" on the highway. thanks in advance

Well, every car when its cold they do that. If you think its clutch, you need to test your clutch by pulling your second or third gear, and if the clutch slips then you need to replace your clutch...

Mine did that. Came to find out the friction ring on the pressure plate warped, cooked the disk, that in turn made a hard spot on the flywheel that ate the disk even more. I was only grabbing with 50% of the friction surface.
Check it out.
