done some searching around but really cannot find an answer

the oem mitsubishi plugs are ngk, and that is what they say you should have

but i think that i am more interested in denso plugs because i have heard a lot of good things
i am just wondering if anybody has those, or has had experience with them?

and suggestions?

I always had success with NGKs on DSM's but since the evo comes stock w/ them then I would go with the NGK's.

I don't like the denso's myself. The electrode is very small and easily damaged when gapping if you aren't super careful. Also on higher HP applications there have been issues with the electrode melting or eroding prematurely and causing misfires. They also seem to get fouled rather easily.

I went through 2 sets in my s2000. They are good plugs, but your really have to keep an eye on them and make sure that little electrode didn't melt or fall off :)

After my s2k got SC'rd, I went to NGK copper plugs. I replaced them every 4000 miles, but at $2 a plug who cares... They ran so good, never any problem unless I left them in just a little to long.
