As the thread title suggests, whats the quickest 9.8 hotside Evo? No porting, no clipping, no changing of the hotside, all other mods allowed.
I've been searching on evom and all everytime I do a hotside search I get 10.5. I know Curt Brown has gone 10.97 but he's a 10.5.

The fastest I have seen on Pump gas with an EMS is 11.8 @ 117MPH

Racew gas was 11.7 @ 118

Stock head, 272's, basic stuff ytou know.

That's probably with alky on the 117 run, right? It's hard to make 375whp on the 9.8 hotside with basic bolt-ons using 93oct and no alky...you simply can't run enough boost to because of the inherent knock when using 93oct.

Nope, 100% Pump. That is the upper most you can reach. He had 380WHP on a Dynojet, pump gas tuned by Turbo Trixx with an AEM EMS. He also was sponsoredby them so if his car blows, who cares. It was a VERY agressive tune. I made 350/350 on a flash. He made 400WHP on race gas.


Now he runs a Built 2.0 with a GT35R, oh it must be nice :tease:

You read it wrong. -4, -1.5 is what he ran 119 with.
We used to run this setting but changed for the 6sp gearing and boost falloff.

But the thread is 9.8cm2. He has the 2005 with 10.5cm2. :eek:

With his 720cc injectors, he is high on the timing tables with 112 octane, probably 24-26* timing and -35 to -40 on the safcII.
