Hey, if anyone here has ever used it to clean internals, like putting it in the crankcase, gas tank, and oil, what do you do after you put it in. I bought a bottle and wanna send it through to rid me of lifter knock or whatever. But say i get it in the vacum line, and it goes to the crankcase, do i need to get it out. Somehwere it said not to leave it in, but empty crankcase? i dont get it, thx

If you are trying to get ride of lifter tick (never ending battle with Mitsubishi's) it would need to go in the oil system. Just use it before your next oil change for how ever long it is recomended to keep it in. Last thing I did of this nature was in my non-turbo Eclipse spyder. I used half a pint of ATF in the oil 50 miles (one round trip to work and back) and then an oil change.

I have personally used seafoam many times. You can put it in your gas tank (injector cleaner), your oil or into your cylinders through a vacuum line. When feeding the seafoam into your cylinders via a vacuum line either use about half the bottle(be gentle, dont force half a bottle in half a second) or use until the car dies. Then let the car sit for about 5-10 mins and start it up and enjoy the smokeshow as carbon buildup n such engulfs your neighborhood! They say not to leave it in your crankcase for very long. crackcase = your oil , so simply change your oil soon after either putting it in your oil or running it through a vacuum line.
